Women’s Retreat: A Weekend With Saint Thérèse
Spend a weekend learning how to open your heart to God’s transforming love in the company of one of our great woman saints, Thérèse of Lisieux!
We will stay in the newly-renovated Bethlehem House at the Abbey of the Genesee, where we will enjoy comfortable accommodations, good food, and moments of reflection, meditation, and discussion. In addition to three retreat conferences, we will have full access to the hours of monastic prayer in the stillness and beauty of the Abbey setting. We will have Mass, Adoration, and opportunities for confession and spiritual direction.
The retreat officially begins at 7 pm on Friday (dinner will be served at 6). Retreatants may check in at the retreat house any time after 3 pm. The retreat ends at noon on Sunday (lunch will be served beforehand). Retreatants may remain at the retreat house after the retreat ends on Sunday for extended time of prayer and/or conversation.
The retreat cost is $330, which includes accommodation and meals. All retreat rooms are single occupancy. Several rooms have a half-bath and are on the first level of the building. The remainder are dorm style rooms in the upstairs that share a common bath and shower. Please note when you sign up if you require a downstairs room or an attached bath.
This retreat is limited to 14 participants.
Please note: after you sign up, you will receive a link for the $50 non-refundable deposit. Your deposit secures your spot for retreat. The balance for the retreat will be due 10 days before the retreat start date.
