ENCOUNTER HIS LOVE, ON RETREAT

A woman standing on a grassy trail in a lush green forest, wearing a large hat, a light blouse, and dark pants, with a black bag on the ground beside her.

And He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while.” —Mark 6:31

Lisa offers Saturday half-day retreats on the lives of the saints at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry and also has the rare privilege of offering retreats in partnership with the Abbey of the Genesee, a Cistercian (Trappist) monastery nestled in the quiet hills of western New York. Immersed in the rhythm of monastic prayer and silence, participants are invited to taste something of the peace that has drawn seekers to monasteries for centuries. The Abbey’s cloistered beauty provides a backdrop where hearts naturally slow, open, and receive.

Above all, Lisa’s retreats create space to listen, to rest, to rediscover joy, and to let the witness of the saints awaken courage and hope for your own journey.
